This site and the content thereof are available for you to use at your convenience. Elektor reserves the right to make changes to or to refuse access to these pages. Elektor can in no way be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss or business interruption resulting from the use of or the impossibility to use the information supplied through the World Wide Web pages, even if Elektor has been informed of the possibility of such loss or damage.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes for Deliveries Outside the EU

For deliveries outside the European Union, additional customs duties and import taxes may apply, as determined by the authorities of the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We have no influence over these fees and cannot determine them in advance. It is the buyer’s responsibility to inform themselves about the applicable customs regulations and any additional costs in the destination country. Please note that customs clearance may cause delivery delays.

Collection of General Data

It is vital to Elektor that the privacy of visitors to the Elektor website is respected. Elektor's customer database file is registered under the UK Data Protection Act.

Protection

Elektor has taken appropriate measures to prevent unlawful access or improper use of your personal data and to guarantee the correctness and integrity of those data. Elektor uses, for example, a generally accepted encoding technology to collect and send confidential information like credit card information.

Correctness of Collected Data

Elektor may, on its own initiative or at your request, complete, modify or remove incorrect or out-of-date personal data.

Affiliate Cooperation with Eleshop (Exclusive Partner)

1. Elektor maintains an exclusive commercial partnership with Eleshop for the sale of certain "Trade Products". Visitors are redirected to Eleshop’s online store via affiliate links placed by Elektor.
2. Elektor solely provides these referrals; once you visit an Eleshop website, the General Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy & Cookie Policy of Eleshop apply. Elektor is not the seller of the products offered by Eleshop. All purchase contracts are concluded exclusively between you and Eleshop and are subject to Eleshop’s general (sales) terms and conditions. Elektor is not a contracting party to these purchase agreements and therefore assumes no liability for contract fulfillment by Eleshop (e.g., delivery, warranty, returns processing, or customer service).
3. For every successful purchase made via an Elektor referral link, Elektor receives commercial compensation (commission) from Eleshop, provided the purchase is completed within 30 days after the referral click (attribution model: last click within 30 days), unless otherwise agreed in writing by the parties.
4. Elektor informs its visitors that affiliate links exist and that a commercial relationship with Eleshop is in place. This information is displayed in the form of an affiliate notice alongside the respective link as well as in our Privacy Policy.
5. Upon request (e.g., in cases of recurring complaint patterns), Elektor may consult with Eleshop regarding Eleshop’s sales conditions, service levels, and warranties in order to ensure a reliable referral for you. Such consultation is an organizational measure and does not entail the assumption of any legal obligations by Elektor.
6. Elektor and Eleshop declare that no personal data will be shared between the parties without a clear, prior written agreement, a legal basis, and proper legal documentation (such as a data processing agreement). If Elektor or Eleshop deem it operationally necessary to process personal data within the framework of a service relationship, this will only take place on the basis of an expressly written data processing agreement in accordance with the GDPR.

Liability and Limitations (Affiliate Context)

1. Elektor shall not be liable for: (a) products or services offered through Eleshop; (b) contractual or non-contractual actions of Eleshop; (c) complaints, defects, or claims arising from the contract between you and Eleshop.
2. Elektor will make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of product information but assumes no (contractual) liability for incorrect product data provided by Eleshop or other third parties.
3. For all other liability matters, the general limitations of liability and disclaimers contained in these Terms and Conditions shall apply.
