The book is even better than I expected! Perfect quality, beautiful photos plus nice language with a decent sense of humor. :-)

Ayant travaillé des années avec des oscilloscopes analogiques, 465 puis 2445, je garde le souvenir d'outils extraordinaires d'une ergonomie très pensée, bien supérieure à celle des oscilloscopes numériques actuels.
Le livre est bien fait, avec de nombreuses photos et informations. Il est assez orienté vers la remise en état de ces instruments, mais apporte un témoignage important sur les merveilles de ce constructeur mythique.

Possédant des oscilloscopes de cette marque mythique , ce livre nous fait voir l'évolution technologique au fur et à mesure que celle ci évolue.
Qui dit évolution = miniaturisation , donc difficulté à réparer le cas où ...
Livre à dévorer pour les passionnés !!!

Bij bezorging van het boek dacht ik dat er een verkeerde inhoud in de doos geleverd was vanwege het gewicht maar ben er gauw achtergekomen dat het toch dit enorme boek betrof...Keurig verpakt in doos.Er zullen meerdere uren leesplezier volgen want het boek is gedrukt in meerdere kleuren,op glanzend papier met fotos van adembenemende scherpte en de hele geschiedenis van TEKTRONICS omvattend...
Zeer de moeite waard als would be owner van zo n Scoop als andere liefhebbers...!!!

I have been involved in electronics all my life starting in the vacuum tube days. This book is a joy to read. With the great photos, product descriptions and history, troubleshooting experiences, advancements in technologies over time I have trouble putting this book down. I worked as an electronics technician at IBM for years using some of the models described in this book. Years later I worked as an information developer at IBM creating technical documents supporting hardware and software. I can say this book is well researched, organized and presented, a fantastic job. The author clearly has a passion for electronics and test instruments. Test instruments don't get the attention or credit they deserve for helping make the world we live in today. Great book! Thank you

Wonderful book, lots and lots of information about a great company with great products. I can only imagine how much time went into putting it all together, great work, thanks to the author!

Beautiful book, the writer has the same love for these technological marvels ( of their time) as I do. Highly recommend this as an addition to your collection
